Setting Description
4:3 Override Selectst he outputformat for 4:3 standard definition pictures.
Defaultsto 480i.
Optionsar e OFF, 480i or 480p. If the DVI/YPbPrOutput is set
to 480i,t hissetting becomes redundant and defaults to OFF.
This setting providesthe ability to specifyhow 4:3 pictures are
to be displayedon yourTV. Most TV programming is 4:3
aspectratio (square).
SelectingOFF will display regular TV programs that are 4:3
aspect ratio in widescreen fo rmat. If you have a w idescreen
TV, black bars will be placed on the left and right of the picture
to fit your screen. SelectingOFF when you have a 4:3 TV
Typem ay resultin asmall picture and black bars around the
entire pictur e.
Selecting 480iwill transmit TV programs that are not high
definitioni n their original 480iformat. Som eTVs cannot
display480i f ormaton their component video inputs (Y Pb Pr).
Check your TV User Gui de for more informa tion.
Selecting 480p w ill convert TV progr ams that are not high
definitiont o a higher quality 480pf ormat. SomeTVs cannot
display 480pformat on their component video inputs

Closed
Caption Turns closed captions off or on. The LED panel will display the
status of the closed captions. Defaults to DISABLED.
Options are ENABLED or DISABLED.
Pen Size Selectst hefont sizefor closed captions. Defaults to AUTO.
Options are AUTO, STANDARD, LARGE, or SMALL.
Font Style Selects the font style for closed captions. Def aults to AUTO.
Optionsare AUTO, MONOSERIF, PROPORTIONSERIF,
MONO NO SERIF, PROPORTION NOSERI F,CASUAL ,
CURSIVE, or SMALL.
Fore-
ground
Color
Selectst heforeground color for closed captions. Defaults
to AUTO.
Options are AUTO,WHITE, BLACK, RED, GREEN, BLUE,
YELLOW,MAGENTA, or CYAN.

Opacity
Selectst he opacityof the closed captions foreground. Defaults
to AUTO.
Options are AUTO, TRANSPARENT, TRANSLUCENT,
SOLID, or FLASHING.
