Locking and Unlocking

When you lock a message, it cannot be deleted until you unlock it.

1View the message you want to lock or unlock.

If you have already viewed the message, scroll to it.

2Press m.

3Select Lock Message or Unlock Message.

Calling a Number in a Message

If a message you receive contains a phone number or BoostTM walkie-talkie number, you can call or send a call alert to that number.

These numbers may appear in the From field, the To field, the Cc field, the subject line, or the body of the message.

Actions for Received Messages

Making a Phone Call

1View the message.

2Highlight the phone number you want to call.

3Press s.

Making a BoostTM walkie-talkie Call

1View the message.

2Highlight the BoostTM walkie-talkie number you want to call.

3Press the BoostTM walkie-talkie button.

Sending a Call Alert

1View the message.

2Highlight the BoostTM walkie-talkie number you want to alert.

3Press m.

4Select Alert.

5Press the BoostTM walkie-talkie button.

Storing Message Information to Contacts

If a message you receive contains a phone number, BoostTM walkie-talkie number, or an email address, you can store this information to Contacts.
