Antenna

While the keypad is locked, you can respond to
incoming calls, messages, and alerts just as you do
when the keypad is not locked. When finished, press
e to return to the idle scr een. The keypad remains
locked.
You also have the option of setting your phone to
automatically lock the keypad if there has been no
activity for a specified time.
1From the main menu, select Settin gs > Security
> Keypad Lock.
2To lock the keypad immediately, select Lock
Now. You will be given the option to press m and
* to lock and unlock the keypad.
3To set a specific time for the keypad to lock if
there has been no activity, select Auto Lock and
then select a time.
The keypad can be set to lock in 5, 10, 15 or 20
minutes if the keypad is not touched during the
specified time. To turn t he auto lock off, repeat
step 3 and select Off.
Antenna
The retractable ant enna on your phone is designed
to be extended during calls an d is essential to attain
the hearing aid co mpatibility rating on applicable
models.
To extend the antenna, pull gently on the rounded
tip until the antenna is fully extended and clicks into
position.
When finished with a call, retract the antenna by
pushing gently on the rounded tip until the antenna
clicks into place.
To optimize your phone's performance, extend the
antenna when you make or receive a call, and avoid
touching the antenn a with any body par t.
Important: Failure to fully extend or retract the
antenna until the antenna clicks into
place causes severely degraded
performance, which may result in missed
calls, dropped calls, or garbled audio.
