Receiving Calls

Phone Calls

When you receive a phone call, your phone rings,
vibrates, or lights up its backlight.
Answering
If the flip is closed, pres s t. -or-
Open the flip. -or-
Press s. -or-
Press O. -or-
Press A under Yes. -or-
Press any number key.
To answer a call by o pen ing th e fli p, you mus t ha ve
the Flip to Ans feature turned on (see “Setting Flip
Actions” on page 54). To answer a call by pressi ng
any number key, you must have the Any Key Ans
feature turned on ( see “Phone Calls F eatures” on
page 133).
Sending to Voice Mail
If the flip is closed, pres s .. -or-
Press e. -or-
Press A under No.
Ending
If the flip is closed, pres s .. -or-
Press e. -or-
Close the flip.

Private Calls

When you receive a Private call, your phone emits
a chirping sound or vibrates.
Answering
1Wait for the caller to finish s peaking.
2Press and hold the PTT button on the side of
your phone. Begin t a lk in g af t er you r ph on e emi ts
a chirping sound.
3Release the PTT button to listen.
Ending
If the flip is closed, pres s .. -or-
Press e. -or-
Press A under Exit. -or-
Close the flip.
A Private call ends automatically if there is no
activity on the call for a few seconds.
