Beginning a Message With a Quick Note

1Access quick notes.

2Select the quick note you want to send in your message.

3If you want to change the way the quick note appears in this message: Select Msg. Edit the quick note. When you are finished, press O.

This does not affect the quick notes stored in your phone.

4Address and send the message as described in “Creating and Sending Messages” on page 80.

Drafts

When you save an MOSMS message as a draft, it is saved in the text drafts folder.

To edit a draft:

1From the main menu, select Messages > Drafts.

2If you have MMS as well as MOSMS, select Text Msg Drafts.

3Select the draft you want to edit.

4To edit the fields you want to change, follow step 3 through step 5 in “Creating and Sending Messages” on page 80.

MOSMS messages you have sent are stored in the text outbox.

These icons appear next to messages in the text outbox:

4Sent and confirmed.

9Send attempted.

0Forwarded.

5Received by addressee.

6Not received by addressee.

8Send failed.

7Re-sent.

RLocked.

Resending Messages

To resend a message:

1From the main menu, select Messages.

2If you have MOSMS only, select Text Outbox.

If you have MMS as well as MOSMS, select Outbox > Text Msg Outbox.
