Receiving Calls

Phone Calls

When you receive a phone call, your phone rings, vibrates, or lights up its backlights.

Answering

If the flip is closed, press t. -or-Open the flip. -or-

Press s. -or-

Press O. -or-

Press A under Yes. -or-Press any number key.

To answer a call by opening the flip, you must have the Flip to Ans feature turned on (see “Setting Flip Actions” on page 57). To answer a call by pressing any number key, you must have the Any Key Ans feature turned on (see “Phone Calls Features” on page 214).

Sending to Voice Mail

If the flip is closed, press .. -or-

Receiving Calls

Press e. -or-

Press A under No.

Ending

If the flip is closed, press .. -or-

Press e. -or-

Close the flip.

Private Calls

When you receive a Private call, your phone emits a chirping sound and the PTT button backlight flashes rapidly, or your phone vibrates.

Answering

1Wait for the caller to finish speaking.

2Press and hold the PTT button on the side of your phone. Begin talking after your phone emits a chirping sound.

3Release the PTT button to listen.

Ending

If the flip is closed, press .. -or-

Press e. -or-

Press A under Exit. -or-

Close the flip.
