Transmission Timeout

The Scanner Emulation host transmits bar code data to the attached decoder and waits for the decoder to assert

the Decode signal, indicating successful transmission. If, af ter a specified amoun t of time, the Decode signal is not

asserted (indicating that th e attached deco der has not successfully re ceived the bar code d ata), the sca nner issues

transmit error beeps.
