13 System speaker Listen to multimedia files here. When the
speakerphone is active, sounds are emitted here.
14 Camera lens
(optional)
Take pictures or captures bar code data.
15 Camera flash
(optional)
Provides illumination when taking pictures in low
light conditions.
16 IR port Uses infrared technology to transmit and receive
data from other IR-enabled devices.
17 SD/MMC
expansion slot
Supports SD/MMC/SDIO storage cards allowing you
to expand the device memory capacity.
Install add-on applications or use files stored in it for
use with internal applications. You can also use it to
back up data from your device.
18 Stylus To use the stylus, remove it from its holder and hold
it the same way you hold a pen or pencil.
19 Push To Talk
button
Press this button to:
Create voice recordings – See “Recording a
message” on page 28 for more information.
Initiate Push to Talk calls – See “Push to Talk”
on page 149 for more information.
Note: This button can be set to launch another
program. Tap Start > Settings > Personal >
Buttons to customize this button.
20 Power button Press to toggle the device on/off.
Note: Wait four seconds after pressing the power
button to allow the device to power on/off before
pressing the power button again.
