Turning Bluetooth On and Off

Procedure:

1cto access the menu.

2^ or v to Bluetooth and press cto select.

3^ or v to My Status and press cto select.

4The display shows On and Off. ^ or v to On and press c to enable Bluetooth. 9 appears beside On. The Bluetooth icon appears on the status bar.

OR

The display shows On and Off. ^ or v to Off and press c to disable Bluetooth. 9 appears beside Off.

Finding and Connecting to a Bluetooth Device

Procedure:

1Turn on your Bluetooth-enabled device and place it in pairing mode. Refer to respective Bluetooth-enabled device’s user manual.

2On your radio, press c to access the menu.

3^or vto Bluetooth and press cto select.

4^or vto Devices and press c to select.

5 ^or vto the required device and press cto select.

 

 

OR

Advanced

 

^or vto Find Devices to locate available devices.

Your Bluetooth-enabled device may require additional steps

 

^or vto the required device and press cto select.

 

6 ^or vto Connect and press cto select. Display shows

 

Connecting to <device>.

 

to complete the pairing. Refer to respective Bluetooth-

Features

enabled device’s user manual.

 

 

 

 

7 If successful, the radio display shows

 

 

<Device> Connected. A tone sounds and 9 appears

 

 

beside the connected device. The Bluetooth Connected icon

 

 

appears on the status bar.

 

 

OR

 

 

If unsuccessful, the radio display shows

 

 

Connecting Failed.

 

Do not turn off your Bluetooth-enabled device or press d during the finding and connecting operation as this cancels the operation.

page 76.
