Turning the Radio Tones/Alerts On or Off

You can enable and disable all radio tones and alerts (except for the incoming Emergency alert tone) if needed. The current settings for alert tones are ring, vibrate, ring & vibrate and silent mode.

Procedure:

Press the programmed All Tones/Alert button to toggle all tones on or off.

OR

Follow the procedure below.

	Features	1	cto access the menu.

		2	^ or vto Utilities and press cto select.
		2	^ or vto Utilities and press cto select.
		3	^ or vto Radio Settings and press cto select.

	Advanced	4	^ or vto Tones/Alerts and press cto select.
	Advanced	5	OR
		5	^ or vto All Tones and press cto select.
		6	Press cto enable all tones. The display shows 9 beside
			Enabled.

NOTE: At Step 5, you can also use <or >to change the selected option.

Turning Keypad Tones On or Off

Procedure:

1cto access the menu.

2^ or vto Utilities and press cto select.

3^ or vto Radio Settings and press cto select.

4^ or vto Tones/Alerts and press cto select.

5^ or vto Keypad Tones and press cto select.

6Press cto enable keypad tones. The display shows 9 beside Enabled.

OR

Press cto disable keypad tones. The 9 disappears from beside Enabled.

NOTE: At Step 5, you can also use <or >to change the selected option.
