SIMCard and Battery Installation
1. Removethe battery cover.
2. Slidethe SIM card into the recess
sothat the no tch in the card lines up with
thenotch in the recess.
3. Alignthe contacts on the battery with the
contactsin the battery compartment and
press downwards toward the contacts
until the battery clicks into place.
4. Replacethe battery cover.
Note: Ifthe SIM card is inserted incorrectly,
“Check Card” is displayed. Remove the SIM
cardand re-insert it. If thecard does not
work,contact your service provider.
Chargingyour battery:
• Charge the battery by inserting the
adapterplug into the port on your
communicatorand plugging the adapter
into a wall outlet.
• Chargeyour battery at room temperature and never leaveit in really hot, cold, or wet
places.
• Charge only Motorola batteries in your communica tor.
