Exiting the Menus

•)-press and hold for 2 seconds to exit any menuor screen and return to the
Standbyscreen.

Shortand Extended Menus

Asyoubecomeaccustomedtoyourcommunicator’smenus and features you
usethe most, you can select which menus you want readily accessible,and
whichoneyouwanttostoreoutofview.
Withextended menu, all features are always displayed.When you add a
featureto the short menu, it is not displayed until you choose to display it.
1. Tomove a featurefrom the extended menu to the short menu, highlight the
featurethen press and hold (until a menu prompting a decision is displayed.
2. Selecteither to move or keep it on the short menu, or to moveor keep it in the extended
menu.
Note:If a feature can not be moved to the short menu, youc ommunicatorwill let you
knowwi th a message.

How to Use the ControlButtons

Thecontrol buttons are represented as graphics which look like the buttonson your
communicator.A sequence of button presses might be shown as:%().
This means that you would press %,then(andthen )in sequence, not at the same
time.
