Setting Up for Mobile Internet Access
Yourservice provider may set upyour mobile internet access for you. If
not,you will need the following user information to set it up:
•PrimaryData Gateway: the IP address to access the mobile internet.
•PhoneNumber: the number your communicator calls to access the
internet.ThisisprovidedbyyourISP.
•User Name: provided by your ISP.
•UserPassword: provided by your ISP.
•BaudRate: this is likely to be 9600, the standard data rate for GSM phones.
•Idle Time Out: the amount of time the communicatorwaits before hanging up if it detects
nointernet activity.
•LineType or Port: modem or ISDN.
•Connection Type: non-transparentor transparent.

Toset up your mobile internet access:

1. Fromthe br owser menu, select Setup, then press (.
2. Enter your user information by first selecting an item and choosing the sof tkeyto ed it it as
necessary.
3. Whenyou have entered all information, exit to the Standby Screen,tur n your
communicatoroff and then on again to register all information or changes.
