EDS-408A/405A Series User’s Manual					Featured Functions
Log file path and name

		Setting	Description		Factory Default
		Max. 40	The path and file name of the EtherDevice		None
		Characters	Switch’s log file		None
		Characters	Switch’s log file

After setting up the desired path and file name, click Activate to save the setting, and then click Download to download the prepared file from the remote TFTP server, or click Upload to upload the desired file to the remote TFTP server.

System File Update—By Local Import/Export

	Configuration File
	To export the configuration file of this EDS, click Export to save it to the local host.
	Log File
	To export the Log file of this EDS, click Export and save it to the local host.

NOTE	Some operating systems will open the configuration file and log file directly in the web page. In
	such cases, right click the “Export” button to save a file.

	Upgrade Firmware
	To import the firmware file of the EDS, click Browse to select the firmware file already saved on
	your computer. The upgrade procedure will proceed automatically after you click Import.
	Upload Configuration Data
	To import the configuration file of the EDS, click Browse to select the configuration file already
	saved on your computer. The upgrade procedure will proceed automatically after you click
	Import.
