Replacing the Lamp

1.Allow lamp (Figure 35) 15-20 minutes to cool before changing.

2.If lamp assembly is attached to mast, loosen upper T-handle bolt lock that secures the lamp to the mast and remove.

3.Unzip the zipper at the bottom of the balloon. DO NOT use excessive force when unzipping the balloon.

4.Place lamp/balloon assembly on a suitable work bench that is free of dirt, and sharp objects that could damage the balloon.

NOTICE

DO NOT use excessive force when zipping or unzipping the balloon. The possibility exists of the zipper tearing, which would make the balloon unusable.

5.Roll the balloon envelope (Figure 36) upwards to expose the lamp.

6. Release the lamp guard locking tabs (Figure 37).

7. Remove lamp guard (Figure 38).

8.Press tabs on the lamp holder and lift up holder to release lamp. Remove lamp (Figure 39) from lamp socket by turning lamp in a counterclockwise direction.
