ADVANCED OPERATION
Common proceduresof initial settings
Once the initial settings have been completed, the player can always be operated under the same conditions (especially with DVD discs).
The settings will be retained in the memory until they are changed, even if the power is switched off.

2 Press to select the desired item.
The screen will show the current setting for the selected item.
3 Press to select the desired setting. Some items require additional steps.

To exit SET UP menu

Before setting up the DVD player initially. it is advised to restore the unit’s default settings.
To set player to the factory default setting, follow instructions below:

2 Press the buttons “CLEAR, 2, 5, 8, 0 and CLEAR” in this exact sequence on the remote control.
Be sure that the intervals between each press of a button does not exceed 1 second.
3 The display will show: “CFG INIT”. Repeat 2 if “CFG INIT” isn’t displayed.
4 The unit has now been set to factory default settings. The SET UP menu looks like this:

5 The factory default password number is “1, 2, 3, 4”.
Press SET UP again or press RETURN. (Return to the stop mode.)
