3. Depressthe circuit breaker to reset it.
4. Reconnect the ACline cord.
5. Turnthe power switch to the On position.
If the circuit breaker trips again, complete the following steps:
1. Turnthe front panel power switch to the Standby position.
2. Disconnect the chassis from the ACmains power source.
3. Removeall modules from the chassis.
4. Completethe test procedure described in the Using the Power
Monitoring Feature section in Chapter 2, PXI-1006 Features.
5. Ifany voltages are outside the acceptable limits, contact National
Instruments.
6. If all voltagesare wi thin the acceptable limits, verify that your
PXI-1006 can meet the powerrequirem ents of your CompactPCI or
PXI modules.Overloading the chassis can cause the breaker to trip.
Refert o Appendix A, Specifications.
7. The over-currentcondition that caused the circuit breaker to trip
may be due to a faulty CompactPCI or PXI module. Refer to the
documentation supplied with the modules for troubleshooting your
modules.
