Configuring Advanced Security

The Integrated ADSL Modem and Wireless Router with Voice, Model DG834GV provides a

variety of advanced features, such as:

• Setting up a Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) Server

• Connecting Automatically, as Required

• Disabling Port Scan and DOS Protection

• Responding to a Ping on the Internet WAN Port

•MTU Size

• Flexibility on configuring your LAN TCP/IP settings

• Using the Router as a DHCP Server

• Configuring Dynamic DNS

• Configuring Static Routes
