Description

On (default setting)

Digital zoom is enabled.

 

 

 

The zoom ratio is limited within a range in which the

 

image quality does not deteriorate (A25).

ZCrop

• Digital zoom is not available when the image size is

i4608×3456, j4608×2592, or H3456×3456.

 

 

• This setting functions in the same way as the On setting

 

during movie recording.

 

 

Off

Digital zoom is disabled.

 

 

B Notes About Digital Zoom

•Digital zoom cannot be used in the following situations.

-When the scene mode is set to Scene auto selector, Portrait, Night portrait, Night landscape, Backlighting (when HDR is On), Easy panorama or Pet portrait

-When smart portrait mode is selected

-When Continuous (E34) is set to Multi-shot 16 in j, k, l, or m mode

-When AF area mode (E38) is set to Subject tracking in j, k, l, or m mode

•When digital zoom is in effect, Metering (E33) is set to Center-weightedor spot metering (where the center of the frame is metered) depending on the magnification of an enlargement.
