Using the Monitor

Do not apply excessive force to the monitor when it is folded out from the camera body. Failure to observe this precaution could damage the hinge that connects the monitor to the camera.

When the Monitor Is in the Storage Position

The only controls that can be used when the monitor is off are the shutter-release and zoom buttons (optical zoom only). To use digital zoom ( 26) and other camera controls, fold the monitor out.
