Shooting Options: The Shooting Menu
The following options can be set when shooting in A (auto) mode (A22).

Displaying the Shooting Menu

Enter A (auto) mode (A22).
Press the d button to display the shooting menu.
Use the multi selector to choose and apply settings (A11).
To exit the shooting menu, press the d button.
BCamera Settings that Cannot Be Applied Simultaneously
Some functions cannot be enabled in conjunction with others (A110).
AImage mode A99
Choose image size and quality. The image mode setting can also be modified from
other shooting menus (except the movie menu).
BWhite balance A101
Match white balance to the light source.
CContinuous A103
Enable continuous shooting or BSS (best shot selector).
EISO sensitivity A104
Control the camera’s sensitivity to light.
FColor options A105
Apply color effects to pictures as they are recorded.
GAF area mode A106
Choose how the camera selects the focus area for autofocus.
