Custom Sett ings

The Custom Setting menu contains the following options.

See “Using Camera Menus” (A94) for more information on using

the menus.

To display the following options, select Full for CSM/Setup menu (A118) in the setup

menu.

R Reset A110

Restore all Custom Settings to default values.

01 Beep A110

Turn on or off the beep that sounds when the camera focuses or when the self- timer or

remote control is used.

02 Focus mode A57

Choose the focus mode.

03 AF-area mode A58

Choose how the camera selects the focus point.

04 Release mode A54

Choose the manner in which the shutter is released.

05 Metering1A62

Choose how the camera sets exposure.

06 No memory card? A110

Enable or disable the shutter-release button when no memory card is inserted in the

camera.

07 Image review A111

Choose whether photographs are displayed immediately after they are taken.

08 Flash compensation1A68

Adjust flash level.

Enable or disable the AF-assist illuminator.

10 ISO auto1A111

Choose the maximum ISO value used for auto sensitivity control.
