Gbutton ➜ ACustom Settings menu

Choose the role played by the depth-of-field preview button during movie live view.

Option	Description
	Aperture narrows while the button is pressed. Use in

qPower(close)aperture combination with Custom Setting g1 (Assign Fnbutton) > Power aperture (open) for button-

controlled aperture adjustment.

Press the button during movie recording to add an

rIndex marking index at the current position (0 63). Indices can be used when viewing and editing movies.

	Press the button to display information on shutter
View photo	speed, aperture, and other photo settings in place of
s shooting info	movie recording information. Press again to return to
	the movie recording display.

None	Pressing the button has no effect.

APower Aperture

Power aperture is available only in exposure modes gand hand can not be used during recording or while photo shooting info is displayed (a 6 icon indicates that power aperture can not be used). The display may flicker while aperture is adjusted.
