Editing Functions

Use the COOLPIX S3200 to edit images in-camera and store them as separate files (E70). The editing functions described below are available.

Editing function

Description

Quick retouch (E12)

Easily create retouched copies in which contrast and

saturation have been enhanced.

 

 

 

D-Lighting (E12)

Create a copy of the current image with enhanced brightness

and contrast, brightening dark portions of the image.

 

 

 

Glamour retouch (E13)

Make facial skin tone softer and make faces look smaller with

larger eyes.

 

 

 

 

Apply a variety of effects using digital filter. The available

Filter effects (E14)

effects are Soft, Selective color, Cross screen, Fisheye,

 

Miniature effect, and Painting.

 

 

Small picture (E15)

Create a small copy of images suitable for use as e-mail

attachments.

 

 

 

Crop (E16)

Enlarge the image or refine the composition and create a

copy containing only the portion visible in the monitor.

BNotes About Image Editing

Images captured at an Image mode setting of l4608×2592 (A60) cannot be edited.

The COOLPIX S3200 editing functions are not available for images captured with another make or model of digital cameras.

If no face is detected in an image, a copy cannot be created using the glamour retouch option (E13).

Edited copies created with COOLPIX S3200 may not be displayed properly on another make or model of digital camera. It may also be impossible to transfer them to a computer using another make or model of digital camera.

Editing functions are not available when there is not enough free space in the internal memory or on the memory card to store the edited copies.
