Adjusting Brightness (Exposure Compensation)

You can adjust overall image brightness.

1 Press the multi selector K(oexposure compensation).

2 Press Hor Ito select a compensation value.

 

Exposure compensation

To make the image brighter, apply positive (+) exposure compensation.

To make the image darker, apply negative (–) exposure compensation.

3 Press the kbutton to apply the compensation value.

If you do not press the kbutton within a few seconds, the setting is applied and the menu disappears.

When an exposure compensation value other than 0.0 is

applied, the value is displayed with the Hindicator in the

+0.3

monitor.

4Press the shutter-release button to take an image.

To turn off exposure compensation, return to step 1 and revert the value to 0.0.

C Exposure Compensation Value

The exposure compensation value applied in A(auto) mode is stored in the camera’s memory even after the camera is turned off.
