B Note About Autofocus for Movie Recording
When shooting a subject that is not suitable for autofocus (A71), the camera may not be able to focus properly on the subject. Follow the procedure below if you are trying to shoot this type of subject for movies.
1.Set Autofocus mode in the movie menu to ASingle AF (default setting) before starting movie recording.
2.Frame a different subject (positioned at the same distance from the camera as the intended subject) at the center of the frame, press the

• | The camera temperature may increase significantly when used for |

| an extended period of time for movie recording, etc. or when |
|
| used in places with high ambient temperature. | 10s |
• | If the camera becomes extremely hot while recording a movie, |

| the camera automatically terminates recording after ten seconds. |

| The camera monitor displays the number of seconds (B10s) |
|
| remaining until automatic termination is activated. | 15s |
| After the camera stops recording, it turns itself off. Wait until the |

| internal temperature decreases before using it again. |
