Shooting Suited to Scenes (Scene Mode)

CFocusing in Scene Auto Selector Scene Mode

When the camera recognizes a human face in scene auto selector scene mode, it focuses on that face. See “Face Detection” (A42) for more information.

When the shooting mode indicator dor i(close-up) is displayed, the camera automatically selects the focus area (up to nine areas) containing the subject closest to the camera.

CFunctions Available in Scene Auto Selector Scene Mode

Tap the left tab or the bottom tab to display the setting controls and change settings for flash mode (A34), self-timer (A37), exposure compensation (A40), image mode (A45), and touch shooting (A47, 52).

a(auto; default setting) and c(off) flash modes can be specified (A34). When a(auto) is

applied, the camera automatically selects the optimum flash mode for the scene mode it has selected. When c(off) is applied, the flash does not fire, regardless of shooting conditions.

Macro mode is disabled. Macro mode is only enabled when the camera selects Close-up scene mode.

Changes made to these settings apply to all shooting modes.
