Recording Movies

Record high-definition movies with sound recorded via the built-in microphone.

•The maximum recording time for a single movie is 29 minutes, even when there is sufficient free space on the memory card for longer recording (A 127).

1Tap the shooting mode icon in shooting mode to display the

shooting mode selection menu and then tap D.

2Press the shutter-release button all the way down to

start recording.

The camera focuses on the subject at	T
center of the frame.	W
A progress bar shows the amount of	6s
recording time remaining.

To end recording, press the shutter-release button all the way down again.

Movie recording can also be initiated or stopped by tapping the monitor.

Recording stops automatically when the maximum movie length that can be recorded has run out.
