Viewing Multiple Pictures: Thumbnail Playback

Placing two fingers on the monitor in full-frame playback mode (A 78) and pinching them together displays pictures in “contact sheets” of thumbnail images.

The following operations can be performed while thumbnails are displayed.

To	Tap	Description	A
		Increase number of picture thumbnails
		displayed: 4 ➝ 9 ➝ 16		More
Increase number of picture	–	Placing two fingers on the picture
thumbnails displayed		currently displayed and pinching them		on
		together increases the number of picture
				Playback
		thumbnails displayed.	–
		Decrease number of picture thumbnails
Decrease number of		displayed: 16 ➝ 9 ➝ 4
	–	Placing two fingers on the picture

		currently displayed and spreading them

		apart decreases the number of picture
		thumbnails displayed.
		Tap B or C, or drag the slider at the right
Scroll display	B, C	of the monitor. Dragging your finger up	–
		and down on the monitor can also scroll
		through the display.
Return to full-frame	–	Tap a picture.	–
playback
Set the picture rating/play	Right tab	Apply a rating of one to five to each	97
back pictures by rating	(P)	picture or play back pictures by rating.
Make playback settings	Bottom	The Delete, Slide show, Protect, or Print	96
	tab	set setting can be enabled.
Switch to shooting mode	Shooting	Tap the shooting mode icon or press the	–
	mode	shutter-release button.
