Preparation

Thank you for purchasing the Nikon High-performance Battery Pack SD-9. The SD-9 is an external power source for the Nikon Speedlight SB-910

En and SB-900. You can install four or eight AA-size batteries in the SD-9 to ensure a stable power supply for the Speedlight, and can get a greatly increased number of flashes and a shortened recycling time. Please read this user’s manual as well as the user’s manuals provided with your camera and Speedlight before use.

Nikon Speedlight SB-910, SB-900

• Batteries are required in the Speedlight, even when the SD-9 is used.

■Usable batteries

Use the same type of four or eight AA-size batteries of any of the following types.

1.5 V LR6 (AA-size) alkaline

1.5 V FR6 (AA-size) lithium

1.2 V HR6 (AA-size) rechargeable Ni-MH
