Quick access to the contacts
To call a contact quickly:
XIn the standby display, scroll right to the first letter of the
contact name, and press .
XScroll to the name, and press to dial the number.

You can assign up to five phone numbers to a name in
your contacts. For further i nformation, see “ Contacts” on

Mobile data communication using Bluetooth wireless
technology or an RS232 cable
Your car phone comes with a convenient feature allowing you
to connect compatible external devices such as a laptop
computer or compatible vehicle on-board systems to the car
phone either wireless through Bluetooth wireless technology or
using an RS232 cable.
This means that you can no w utilise GSM data serv ices such as
GPRS or HSCSD for mobile fax transmissions, Internet access or
vehicle fleet services. For further information, see “Data transfer

SIM card
To operate your car phone, you must insert a SIM card in the
radio unit. For further information, see “Installing the SIM card”
on page16.
