Note
The original factory setting for the delay time is five
seconds. Active call diverts are shown by an indicator on
the display. For further information, see “Display
indicators” on page12.
Automatic answer
This feature allows you to automatically answer incoming calls
after the first ring whenever your car phone is on and off mode
is not active. You can switch this feature on or off as desired.
Caution!
If you activate this featur e, you should make sure t hat
the ringing tone is set sufficiently loud to make you
aware of an incoming call. Otherwise, you may run the
risk of a caller listening in on conversations carried on in
the car.
To activate the automatic answer feature:
XWith the display in standby, press .
XScroll to Settings, and press .
XScroll to Call settings, and pre ss .
XScroll to Automatic answer, and press .
XScroll to On or Off, and press to select the desired
setting.
Call waiting (network servic e)
If the Call waiting feature is activated, you are notified of any
incoming call while you ha ve another call in progress. This
feature allows you to accep t this call.
To activate call waiting:
XWith the display in standby, press .
XScroll to Settings, and press .
XScroll to Call settings, and press .
XScroll to Call waiting, and press .
XScroll to the desired setting, and press .
Select from the following options:
yActivate
This option activates the call waiting service.
yCancel
This option deactivates the call waiting service.
yCheck status
This option lets you know whether this service is cu rrently
active for your car phone.
XPress to accept an incoming call while you are engaged
in an active call.
The first call is placed on h old.
XPress to end a currently active call and to return to the
call on hold.
