View paired devicesYou can view a list of Bluetooth wireless technology paired
devices to create a connection to a paired device or to edit the
list of paired devices.
XWith the display in standby, press .
XScroll to Bluetooth, and press .
XScroll to the item View paired devices, and press to
open the list of paired devices.
XScroll to the desired device, and press .
XScroll to the desired option, and press .
XFollow the instructions on the display.
This function calls up a list of all paired devices with Bluetooth
technology. The last pairing is listed at the top. Some of the
options below may be available depending on the status of the
device or the connection.
Create connection
This option establishes a wirele ss connection to a paired dev ice
with Bluetooth technology.
Delete pairing
This option removes a device from the list of paired devices with
Bluetooth technology.
Request authorisation
You can define whether the connection from the paired device
is established automatically (No) or whether the car phone asks
for authorization before pairing when the device to be paired
comes within Bluetooth range of the car phone (Yes).
Edit Bluetooth name
This option changes the name of the device with Bluetooth
technology that is paired with your car phone.
XWith the display in standby, press .
XScroll to Bluetooth, and press .
XScroll to View paired devices, and press .
XScroll to the name of the desired device, and press .
XScroll to Edit Bluetooth name?, and press .
XThe devices that are paired with the car phone are displayed
with their respective Bluet ooth names. Scroll to the des ired
device, and press .
XScroll to the desired option Yes or No, and press .
If you select Yes, the Bluetooth name currently in use is
displayed.
XUse the Navi wheel text editor to make any desired changes.
XPress to delete a character.
XPress to save an entry.
XEntry completed? is displayed. Scroll to Yes, and press
to confirm.
