Description of the Nortel VPN Router 2700
You can use the VPN Router 2700 to provide scalable, secure, and robust Internet Protocol (IP) virtual private networks (VPN) across the public data network. The VPN Router 2700 uses the infrastructure of the Internet to replace traditional remote access gear.
The VPN Router 2700 provides routing, firewall, bandwidth management, encryption, authentication, and data integrity services to ensure secure tunneling across IP networks and the Internet. An individual user or group of users can be associated with a set of attributes that provide custom access to an extranet.
