Prerequisites

Element Manager has the following system requirements:

Windows: Windows 98 SE, Windows 2000, Windows XP

RAM: minimum 256 MB, recommended 512 MB

free space: 150 MB

BCM Element Manager access is also supported through a Citrix server

Accessing the BCM system

After your computer is connected to the BCM system, either through an Ethernet crossover cable or through a LAN connection, you can download BCM Element Manager from the Administrator Applications area of the BCM web page.

To access the BCM web page

1Open a web browser and enter the BCM system IP address. The Enter Network Password dialog box opens.

2Enter the username and password (defaults are shown below): Username: nnadmin

Password: PlsChgMe!

3Click OK.

The Welcome to BCM web page opens.

To download and install Element Manager

1On the Welcome to BCM web page, click Administrator Applications. The Administrator Applications page opens.

2On the Administrator Applications page, click BCM Element Manager. The BCM Element Manager panel opens.

3Read the information on this panel.

4Click Download Element Manager on the right side of the screen.

5After BCM Element Manager has finished downloading, double-click the application and follow the instructions to install.
