The Movie Menu

Autofocus Mode

Choose how the camera focuses in movie mode.

Option	Description
A Single AF	Camera focuses when shutter-release button is pressed halfway
(default setting)	and locks at this position during shooting.
	Camera focuses continuously until focus is acquired and locked.
B Full-time AF	To prevent sound of camera focusing from interfering with
	recording, use of Single AF is recommended.

Electronic VR

Enable or disable electronic VR for movie recording.

	Option	Description
	xOn	Reduce the effects of camera shake in all movie modes.
	(default setting)	Reduce the effects of camera shake in all movie modes.
	(default setting)
	k Off	Electronic VR is not enabled.

At settings other than Off, the electronic vibration reduction icon is displayed (A6).

Movies

CSetting for Electronic VR

When TV movie 640P or Small size 320P is selected for Movie options (A55), or Full-time AF for Autofocus mode, Electronic VR is set to Off.

Selecting TV movie 640 or Small size 320 for Movie options, or selecting Single AF for Autofocus mode restores the original Electronic VR setting.
