When the focus is locked, the AF confirmation mark ((or n) and AF target mark

light up.

(: For a high-speed Imager AF-compatible lens which is a Micro Four Thirds system lens or Four Thirds system lens

n: Other Four Thirds system lens

Check the focus on the LCD monitor.

The shutter speed and aperture value that have been set automatically by the camera are displayed.

3 Release the shutter

Press the shutter button all the way (fully).

The shutter sounds and the picture is taken.

The card access lamp blinks and the camera starts recording the picture.

Never remove the battery or card while the card access lamp is blinking. Doing so could destroy stored pictures and prevent storage of pictures you have just taken.
