Controlling Other Components

In addition to controlling the DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E, the remote controller can also be used to control your TV and VCR. To do this you need to enter the appropriate control codes for your TV and VCR. Notes:

The learning mode will be cancelled if you don’t press any buttons for 30 seconds.

In some cases, not all of the remote controller’s but- tons may work as expected.

Individually learnt commands for the TV and VCR modes (see page 91) are deleted when a new remote control code is entered.

Entering Remote Control Codes

Entering the appropriate remote control code for your TV and VCR will allow you to control them with the DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E’s remote controller. You’ll need to perform this procedure twice to enter the codes for both your TV and VCR.
