Only remote controller signals received by the DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E’s IR IN are fed through to the IR OUT. Signals picked up by the DV-SP1000/ DV-SP1000E’s remote control sensor are not.

Controlling Other Out-of-range

Components

For another component that is out of range of its remote controller, you can use a commercially available IR emitter to retransmit the remote controller signals received at the DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E’s IR IN, as shown below.

Do not use a power cord other than the one supplied

 

with the DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E, which is designed

 

exclusively for use with the DV-SP1000/

 

DV-SP1000E and should not be used with any other

 

component.

Never disconnect the power cord from the

 

DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E while the other end is still

 

plugged into a wall outlet. Doing so may cause an

 

electric shock. Always disconnect the power cord

 

from the wall outlet first.

The DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E (not the Canadian
