Troubleshooting

If you encounter a difficulty while using your unit, use this troubleshooting guide as an aid to remedy the problem. Because the unit contains a microcomputer to provide advanced functions, it may malfunction due to external noise or static electricity. If this happens, disconnect the power cord and then plug it in again after about 5 seconds. You must also be sure that the system components are properly connected.

If the MD recorder still does not operate correctly, disconnect the power plug, then plug it in again while pressing EDIT/NO button and YES button simultaneously. Note that any TOC information held in this MD recorder will be erased by this operation. If the problem persists even after you try this remedy, or it is not listed in the table, disconnect the power cord and then consult the shop from which you purchased the unit or your nearest ONKYO service station, informing them of your name, address, phone number, type of unit, and the details of the problem.
