Register your handset
IMPORTANT:Whenyoupurchase atelephone,all
handsetsarealreadyregistered tothebase,so you
do not need to register them. Handset registration is
onlynecessarywhenyou buyextrahandsetsor ifa
handsethasbecomefaulty.
Theymaybedifferentifyouwant toregisteranother
handsetmodel,inwhichcase youshouldrefertoits
user guide.
Additionalhandsetsmustbe registeredtothebase
unitbeforeyoucanuse them.Upto4handsets can
beregisteredtoonebasestation.
TheMasterPINisrequiredbeforeyoucanregisteror
un-registerhandsets.
Bydefault,theMasterPINis0000.
Onthebasestation, pressandholdthe HANDSET
LOCATORkeyforapproximately5seconds.
1.On thehandset,pressMENU keytoenter
menu selection.
2. Press the NavigationkeytoselectADVANCED
SET and then press OKkeytoselect.
3. Press the Navigationkeytoselect
REGISTRATIONandthenpress OKkeyto
select.
• Ifnoactionistakenonthehandsetwithin10seconds,
theregistrationprocedurewill beaborted.Ifthis
happens,repeattherststep. (EntertheMasterPIN
when prompted and then press OKkeytoconfirm.

TheMasterPINisusedforregistration/un-registration
of handsets and for accessing the answering
machineremotely.Thedefault MasterPINnumber
is0000.Themaximumlengthof theMasterPINis8
digits.
Note:IfyouforgetyourPINcode, youcanresetitto
its default 0000 using a handset Reset.
1. Press
MENUkeytoentermenuselection.
2. Press the Navigationkeytoselect
ADVANCEDSETandthen pressOKkeyto
select.
3. Press the NavigationkeytoselectCHANGE
PINandthenpressOKkeytoselect.
4. EnterthecurrentMasterPINwhenprompted
and then press OKkeytoconfirm. Asyou
enterthePINitwillbeshown asasterisks(*)
on the screen.
5. EnterthenewPINandthenpress OKkeyto
conrm.Aconrmationbeepisplayed.
