Set ring delay
1. Press the MENUkeytoentermenuselection.

4.Press OKkeytoenter theRINGDELAY
option list.

RINGSorECONOMYandthenpressOKkey
toconrmyourchoice.
6. Aconrmationbeepisplayed. PressHANG-
UP/EXITkeytogobacktoidlemode.
• If youselectEconomymode,the answering
machine will answer calls and start playing the
greeting message after 5 rings if you have no new
messages,orafter3 ringsifthereisat leastone
new message recorded.
To activate/deactivate remote control
access
1. Press the MENUkeytoentermenuselection.
2. Press the Navigationkey toselectANSW
MACHINEandthenpressOKkeytoselect.
3. Press the Navigationkeytoselect
SETTINGSandthenpressOKkeytoselect.
4. PresstheNavigationkeytoselectREMOTE
ACC. and then press OKkeytoselect.
5. Press the NavigationkeytoselectACTIVATE
orDEACTIVATEandthen pressOKkeyto
conrm.
6.A confirmationbeepisplayed. PressEND
keytogobacktostandbymode.
• Oncetheremotecontrolaccessisactivated,
youcancheckthe messagesofyouranswering
machinewhenyouareawayfromhome,bycalling
from another phone.
• Iftheansweringmachineisturnedoff, youmust
changeyourmasterPIN fromitsdefault0000,
beforeyoucanusetheremoteaccessfeature.
To check messages remotely
1.When youareawayfrom home,dialyour
homephonenumberfrom anotherphone.
The answering machine answers and starts
playing your greeting message.
2. WhiletheOGMisplaying,press#keyonthe
phone you used to dial and enter the remote
access code (which is the same as your
masterPINcode).
• The answer machine will drop the line immediately
ifthereisno detectionofthemasterPIN entry
within8secondsfrompressingthe#.
