Taking Pictures in Simple Mode

This mode allows beginners to take pictures easily. Only the basic functions appear in the menu to make operations simple.

∫Basic menu settings

1 Press [MENU/SET].

2 Press 3/4 to select the desired menu item and then press 1.

3 Press 3/4 to select the desired

setting and then press [MENU/ SET].

4 Press [MENU/SET] to close the menu.

•You can also press the shutter button halfway to close the menu.

Suitable for enlarging the [ENLARGE] pictures to be printed to

8qk10q size, letter size etc.

Suitable for regular size

[4qk6q/ printing.

[E-MAIL]pictures to e-mails or adding pictures to websites.

[AUTO REVIEW]

[OFF] The recorded picture does not automatically appear.

[ON] The recorded picture automatically appears on the screen for about 1 second.

[BEEP]

[OFF] No operation sound

[LOW] Soft operation sound

[HIGH] Loud operation sound

[CLOCK SET]

•If [4qk6q/10k15cm] or [E-MAIL] is set in [PICT.MODE], the extended optical zoom is activated and the zoom ratio is extended to a maximum of 5.5k (DMC-FX07)/ 4.1k (DMC-FX3). (P29)

•The settings for [BEEP] and

[CLOCK SET] in simple mode are also applied to other recording modes.

•The settings for [WORLD TIME] (P20), [MONITOR] (P20), [TRAVEL DATE] (P20), [BEEP] (P21), [SHUTTER] (P21), [NO.RESET] (P22) and [LANGUAGE] (P23) in the [SETUP] menu are applied to simple mode.
