The camera automatically determines the appropriate focus in each scene mode and this is not affected by the focus switch setting. (Even if the focus switch is set to [AF MACRO], the AF MACRO icon does not appear.) Depending on the scene, the camera may not focus properly when you take close-up pictures. Select the appropriate scene for the recording situation.

When you take pictures with a scene mode which is not adequate for the purpose, the hue may differ from the actual scene.

When you want to change the brightness of the picture to be recorded, compensate the exposure (P54). (However, the exposure cannot be compensated in [STARRY SKY].)

When you use a flash in scene mode, use the built-in flash.

The following functions cannot be set in scene mode.

White balance (P82)

ISO sensitivity (P84)

Color effect (P91)

Picture adjustment (P92)
