Scene Mode

Set the recording/playback switch to the recording [ ]. (P18)

When you select a scene mode to match the subject and recording situation, the camera sets the optimal exposure and hue to obtain the desired picture.

Refer to P47 to 52 for details about the modes.

1�Press [MODE], select [SCENE MODE] using E/R and press [MENU/SET].

If you set [SCENE MENU] in [SETUP] menu to [OFF], the previous scene mode is set.

2�Press E/R/W/Q to select the scene mode.

• To see explanations about the scene modes, press [DISPLAY] while a scene mode is selected in step 2. Press again to return to the scene mode menu.

Suitable for taking pictures of your baby.

Age can be displayed with pictures if you set the birthday.

Flash settings return to the factory settings when you change the scene mode despite it remains still even if the camera is turned off.

The colour of the picture may seem strange if you use a scene mode that is unsuitable for the shot.

If you press [MENU/SET] to display the menu screen, [SCN] menu will be

displayed. You can setup recording menu [ ] or setup menu [ ] using R on this screen.

The following cannot be set in scene mode.

Press R at A to switch to the next menu screen.

You can switch menu screens from any menu item by rotating the zoom lever.

3�Press [MENU/SET].

Press [MENU/SET] and then perform steps 2 and 3 to change the scene mode.
