Using the built-in battery (Lithium ion battery pack)

≥Charge the battery before using it for the first time.

≥For replacement, see page 4 “Optional accessories”.

∫To recharge the built-in battery

∫(When the unit is off)

Connect to the household AC outlet while the battery is attached (see left).

∫To confirm the battery charge on the

LCD

Press [DISPLAY].

The battery display appears on the LCD for a few seconds.

It roughly shows the remaining charge.

The [CHG] indicator lights.

The [Í] indicator goes out.

Recharging is complete when [CHG] goes out. (The [Í] indicator lights.) Disconnect the AC power supply cord and AC adaptor.

1 Insert the battery’s flange into the slot in the compartment.

2 Push the battery so it clicks into place.
