Activating the Browser

Toactivate the Browser:

FromIdle mode press Q, select Browser > Start Browser

andpress Q

Thefirst time that the browser is activated there will be no content

storedso the Home URL content will be displayed (as defined by the

networkoperator). From the second time onwards, the last displayed

pagewill be recalled from cache (Cache is the phone’s memory that

storescontent downloaded in the past). When recalling content from

cachethe phone remains off-line (not connected to a WAP server).

Navigating Content

Usethe Navigation key (g) to scroll through the content on the

screenas follows:

Useeto scroll up/down on the current page

Usedto return to the previous page

Usecto return to the next page (only applicable if returned to

previouspage)

Whenlinked text (underlined text) is highlighted press Qto load the

pagerepresented by the link.

The Browser Menu

TheBrowser also contains its own menu which is applicable when

contentis currently being displayed (either on-line or off-line).

TheBrowser menu is accessed by pressing Awhen Menu is

displayedat the bottom left of the display.

Thismenu is used as follows:

HomeDeck Displaysthe Home URL content as defined by the

networkoperator

Bookmark Use,add, delete and rename bookmarks

EnterURL Typein a URL directly to go to a known site

Reload Willreload and update the current page
