Recording with Manual Focus

If auto focusing is difficult due to the conditions, then use M anual Focus.

≥Press the Intelligent auto/Manual button to s witch to Manual Mode. (l53)

Select the menu.

Display the operation icon by p ressing the ENTER button, and swit ch to manual icon by pressing

2Select [MF] using the cursor button to change to Manual Focus.

≥MF appears on the screen.

3Press 2/1 to adjust the focus.

The in-focus area is displayed in blue. The norm al

screen returns approximately 2 seconds after you finish br inging the subject into focus.

≥When [MF ASSIST] is [OFF], the blue area is not displayed.

≥To restore Auto Focus, select [AF] or press the Intelligent auto/Manual button.

≥The blue display does not appear on the images a ctually recorded.
