Changing the password for
feature programming via
remote operation

Note:
RIt is recommended that you change this password from the default
password.
RThis password is also used for feature programming via a web browser
(KX-MB2010/KX-MB2030, LAN connection only).
Setting the toner
maintenance time

The unit will automatically activate for maintenance, once every 24 hours.
Because this is to prevent the toner from solidifying, the noise that the unit
makes during maintenance cannot be stopped. However, if the unit’s noise
bothers you, you can change the start time.

2. Enter the maintenance start time.
RThe default time is “12:00”.
RIf you selected 12-hour time entry (page 23), press MHN repeatedly to
select AM or PM.
RIf you selected 24-hour time entry (page 23), the time is set using 24-hour
time entry.

Resetting all features (and
deleting all data in memory)

Before you dispose of, transfer or return the product, activate this feature to
reset all programmable features and to delete all data stored in memory.
KX-MB2025/KX-MB2030 only: Phonebook (or caller information) and fax
transmission data (journal report and faxes received in memory) will be deleted.

RDisconnect the telephone line cord (KX-MB2025/KX-MB2030 only), USB
cable and LAN cable (KX-MB2010/KX-MB2030 only) before activating this
feature.

REven if this feature is set to “OFF”, the unit beeps in the following cases:
– the memory reception alert setting (feature #437 on page 67) is
activated (KX-MB2025/KX-MB2030 only).
– the top cover is opened.
