◆To Enter Names Selecting Characters
The dialling buttons can be used to enter letters and character symbols. The letters are
printed on the dialing buttons. Pressing each button selects a character as shown on
page 21.
To change the character mode
You can select one of 6 character modes by pressing Áduring
entering a name.
The factory preset is ‘ABC’.
1. ZÁwhile entering a name.
2. ZUor Suntil the arrow points to the desired character
mode,then ZYor V.
•The character mode is displayed.
For example,to enter ‘Anne’.
1. ZB.
2. Z$,then FTWICE.
3. ZV,then FTWICE.
4. ZCTWICE.
◆If you make a mistake while entering a Name/Number
•ZSor Uto move between ‘Name’ area and ‘Phone Number ’area.
•ZTor Vto move cursor to required position.
•To delete one number/letter, ZW. (Items are deleted to the left of the cursor).
•To delete all numbers/letters, Zand hold W.
• To add a number/letter, move cursor to required position. Press number/letter. The item
is added to the left of the cursor.
